Slatted Sideboard

Taking its cue from the SDC-071 commission, this sideboard is our next available piece of production furniture. Available in a range of materials and sizes, it’s slatted doors give a light and sleek feel to what is an imposing but functional piece. As with our other furniture there is a strong architectural influence in the design, while at the same time calling to mind the type of record player cabinet that was popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s.

As pictured, the Slatted Sideboard has a French Oak carcass, Brown Oak doors, Sapele drawers with blue felt linings, glass shelves and deep blue Tabu veneer back boards. Push to open doors complete the clean appearance of the front, while the 98 door slats show the unbroken flow of wood grain from the uncut boards. Hand-cut dovetails in the drawers round out the attention to detail that we invest in our furniture.
