People often spend a lot of time and or money on their AV equipment, so it seems a bit of a shame not to have a nice piece of furniture to feature it.

This Television Stand is a simple design, and like our other pieces can be customised to your fit. The original client’s brief was strongly driven by pieces that he had seen elsewhere that weren’t available to him, but we took that as a starting point for our eventual design. With the figured walnut and the imposing features of the sapwood ribbon and knot on the front panel, not to mention the unbroken flow of grain from top to front, we think we’ve put our own mark on what could have been a fairly pedestrian piece. From a functional perspective the back has been left open to allow for easy air circulation for the electronics, while the exposed dovetail joinery on the side edges demonstrates the handmade nature of the work. Note - scruffy puppy dog not included.
